I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden, where I provide care in both NHS and private settings. My specialist focus is on the treatment of head and neck, as well as thyroid cancers, using radiotherapy and systemic therapies.

I earned my medical degree from the University of Manchester in 2006 and completed my core medical training in the North West. I went on to undertake advanced clinical oncology training at The Royal Marsden and St Luke’s Cancer Centre, where I developed my expertise in cancer care.

From 2014 to 2016, I held a clinical research fellowship with the head and neck unit at The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research, leading to the award of an MD (Res). My research focuses on the use of functional imaging techniques, such as PET and MRI, as predictive and prognostic biomarkers to guide personalised treatment strategies for head and neck cancers.

Following completion of my training, I worked for two years as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, specialising in head & neck, thyroid, and lung cancers. In 2019, I joined The Royal Marsden Hospital. In addition to treating adult head and neck cancers, I also manage thyroid cancers in children and teenagers and run a dedicated clinic for medullary thyroid cancer.

I have contributed to over 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals and authored two book chapters. I remain actively involved in both academic and commercial clinical trials within the head and neck and thyroid cancer units.
