In the UK, Proton International is delighted to be working in partnership with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). Proton International London is home to one of the UK’s two NHS proton beam therapy centres and is the only private PBT centre in the UK.
Globally, proton beam therapy is one of the most advanced cancer treatment technologies available, yet it remains a very limited resource for much of the world. Through our partnership with UCLH, one of the UK’s largest and most highly regarded Trusts, we are working with first-class clinical teams to deliver private proton beam therapy to more people who might benefit from the advanced, precision-targeted treatment proton beam therapy provides in the UK.

Proton International London uses a state-of-the-art PBT system to treat a variety of cancers, including some paediatric cancers, prostate cancer, head and neck cancers, brain tumours, spinal tumours, breast cancer, and lung cancer.
Advancement in treatments and technologies
The consultants who work with us have received extensive specialist training to provide the safe and accurate delivery of proton beam therapy to patients. Many are also involved in cutting-edge research and clinical trials.
Our London centre
Our private Proton Beam Therapy centre is located in the University College Hospital Grafton Way Building. In partnership with UCLH, the centre is home is to four Varian ProBeam™ gantries which are what is used to deliver proton beam therapy. Proton International London manages one of these gantries specifically for private patients.
