I am a Consultant in Clinical Oncology specialising in gastro-oesophageal, rectal, and hepatobiliary cancers. I currently work at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and I am also part of the MR Linac SABR group at the Cromwell Hospital in London.
I trained in Clinical Oncology at University College Hospital London and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. My academic background includes a research MD, a post-doctoral fellowship at Genentech in South San Francisco, and a clinical fellowship in cancer imaging at King’s College London.
In 2018, I was appointed as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London, and in 2019, I was honoured to receive the Guy’s Cancer Career Development and Innovation Award. My research has been published in leading journals including Science Translational Medicine, JCI Insight, and Radiotherapy & Oncology.
My clinical expertise includes chemoradiotherapy and radiotherapy for gastro-oesophageal and rectal cancers, chemoradiotherapy for pancreatic cancer, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), including MRI-guided SBRT, as well as intraluminal HDR brachytherapy for oesophageal cancer. I also have a strong interest in predictive biomarkers and radiomics as part of advancing personalised cancer treatment.
