I was appointed as a consultant in clinical oncology at University College Hospital in 2010. I qualified in medicine from Imperial College London School of Medicine. I trained in oncology at the Royal Marsden and at University College Hospital and completed an MD in the genetics of prostate cancer at the Institute of Cancer Research.
I have a busy prostate, bladder and penile cancer practice and work within two multidisciplinary teams. I have an interest in technical radiotherapy and I am the lead for stereotactic radiotherapy for urological malignancies. I am part of the University College Hospital team delivering high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy for prostate cancer for the surrounding hospitals. I have a sub-speciality interest in penile cancer management. I am a principal investigator for a variety of national and international studies in prostate, bladder and penile cancer.
I specialise in the treatment of prostate cancer with hormonal therapy, HDR brachytherapy, photon radiotherapy, and proton beam therapy.
