I am a consultant in clinical oncology at UCLH. I qualified from Edinburgh Medical School in 2002. I trained in clinical oncology in leading cancer centres across London including UCLH and The Royal Marsden. I have undertaken research at University College London investigating signalling pathways in prostate cancer stem like cells.
I specialise in the management of prostate and bladder cancer and am actively involved in clinical research in these tumour types as principal investigator of several studies at UCLH. Alongside my clinical and academic practice, I am also involved in teaching, training and supervision of junior doctors, radiographers and research fellows. I am chair of the UCLH radiotherapy techniques group and the London Clinic uro-oncology MDT.
I specialise in the treatment of prostate cancer with hormonal therapy, brachytherapy, photon radiotherapy and proton beam therapy.
